MR. DONALD M. KELLY: My partner, John Stonich, and myself are very good at what we do. We have been doing this a long time. We know all the players in town. We understand what results are achievable, and we fight for everything we can get.

I often go into a criminal case not assuming that I am going to lose it, but that I am going to win it. I try to do everything I can to make sure that my client gets the best result. In personal injury cases, you go in trying to get the best dollar value possible for your case. You do what is necessary to make sure that your client receives a good and just result.

Unfortunately, sometimes lawyers will say to a client what the client wants to hear. I don't do that, and neither does my partner. We will tell a client what we think is important, we will tell a client what we think we can do, but before a client decides, even if they don't like what we have to say, they will hear what we believe.

If we believe something is in their best interest, we will let them know that, but it will ultimately be their decision. Unfortunately, some of the lawyers and some of the law firms in town will over sell what is actually possible. I will only tell you what I think I can do, and I will tell you the truth.
